A truly special vision transpired in early 1996. SabeRex began as a single product line of TyRex Group, LTD., its parent company. SabeRex’s main focus at the time was servicing and repairing printed circuit boards for the high-tech industry. In seeing the success of the growing business, in 1997 the second product line of SabeRex, Electronics Asset Management, was established. Simultaneously, SabeRex expanded to a facility in Nashville, Tennessee and began providing electronic rework services to the U.S.
On December 23, 2000 SabeRex Group, LTD. was incorporated as a legal entity
with Thomas Hardt, its founder, adopting the role as President and Partner.
By this time, SabeRex had developed its full range of services to include
Printed Circuit Board Repair, Electronics Asset Management, Electronic Reworks
and Depot, Test and Repair. During that same year, the SabeRex – Bentonville,
Arkansas location was founded. Expansion was inevitable in order to match
the success of SabeRex. The Erlanger, Kentucky location was then acquired
in 2006.
In addition to opening another location, SabeRex formed two subsidiary companies including RF-Scientific Group, LTD. and SaberData, LTD. RF-Scientific Group was created to perform software research and development while SaberData was fashioned as a marketing arm complimenting the research entity.
