All employees observed/interviewed on production floor appeared to be very knowledgeable of their work assignments and could readily explain their job duties.

Work Instructions continue to be excellent, with clear, easily understandable directions. Very effective training on work instructions for personnel, as required. Manufacturing personnel very cooperative and knowledgeable of job duties and expectations.
Mature and effective Quality Management System. Manufacturing and support areas well controlled with management commitment to continuous improvement evident. The monthly management document review sessions implemented last year, that precede the annual Management Review, has proven to be a valuable process improvement resulting in significant improvements to Quality System as a whole. The depth and thoroughness of the internal audits show great improvement in the internal audit process from previous assessment.
The installation of steel runners into the Rack & Stack shipping crates for load leveling is an excellent example of preventive action and continuous improvement of an established process.
Toured facility noting material and process flow from receiving through production, storage, and shipping. Quality manual and Level II QP’s reviewed and effective implementation verified. Again, this facility and processes are a carbon copy of the previously registered DTR facility in Austin, Texas. Quality objectives established and monitored on an ongoing basis. All process/production material customer furnished and any purchasing, which is very little and generally for non-quality related support material, is performed by corporate in Austin, Texas.
Corrective actions resulting from internal audits, in process activities or customer complaints effectively determined and implemented with timely verifications. Preventive Action Team activities provide an effective tool for continuous improvement. Very small but well qualified and knowledgeable operations, production and quality staff. Observed in process activities conducted and documented (generally through an automated scan/tracking system controlled by corporate IT) in accordance with detailed work instructions. All operators are well trained and knowledgeable of job duties and responsibilities. Evidence of ongoing communication with customers (past, present, and potential) for business and customer satisfaction purposes.
